Cobber Cross Country Camps

2019 Cobber Distance RunnEAR Camp

Open to any and all runners (Grades 7-12), this camp is designed for athletes new to running or experienced athletes with a cross country background. Spend a day with Concordia College’s Head Cross Country Coach Laura Januszewski and learn about summer training strategies, strength training for distance runners, framing a competitive mindset, and nutrition for effective training and racing.

Schedule:

  • 8:30 a.m. → Check-in / Introductions
  • 9:00 a.m. → Morning Run
  • 10:00 a.m. → Strength Training / Fundamentals of Rehab (Stretching, Foam Rolling, Icing, etc.)
  • 11:30 a.m. → Lunch (with built in nutrition talk)
  • 1:00 p.m. → Education (mindset, summer training)
  • 3:30 p.m. → Afternoon Workout
  • 4:30 p.m. → Camp Ends
